How Do I Become a Member?

First, Come and visit us!
Check out our Sunday Morning Programs
and many other events.

To join the Ethical Culture Society of Essex County, first get to know us by attending and participating in programs, pot luck suppers, art openings, and other activities. Talk to our members or to our professional leader-member, Martha Gallahue.

We have many programs, including the Sunday morning discussions and lectures, a committee for social action, and a forming program for ethical education and familes. . We are always changing, and always seeking ways to recognize and honor the worth and dignity of each human being. If you think you want to join us, make an appointment by calling the office at 973-763-1905.

To learn more about the philosophy underlying Ethical Culture, read the mission and vision of the national organization and some general information from one of our sister Societies, the Ethical Culture Society in St. Louis.

The most complete online source of history, philosphy, and further information comes from the site of the American Ethical Union.
